The trading evaluation consists of two stages that you need to complete to become an Era Trade trader — that is, a funded trader. After you reach the profit target in Stage 2, your entire evaluation period undergoes a manual review by our risk management team. The review takes up to 5 business days. If you violate any of the rules, all positions on the broker’s platform will be closed immediately, your account will be closed, and your right to a payout will be revoked.
Stage 1
This stage tests your trading skills and helps identify you as a trader. In Stage 1, you need to reach a profit target of 8% without exceeding a drawdown of 5% per day or 10% overall, and without violating any other rules. After you reach the target and your account is reviewed, you automatically move on to Stage 2.
Stage 2
Stage 2 is only needed to confirm your challenge results. Here, you need to reach a profit target of 5% without exceeding a drawdown of 5% per day or 10% overall, and without violating any other rules.
After you reach the Stage 2 target, your entire evaluation period undergoes a manual review by the risk management team.
After a successful review, Era Trade creates a funded account and provides the account details.
